The Proms, 2017

During 2017 Clare Teal, the well respected BBC Radio Presenter and Jazz Vocalist was kind enough to support Cherise's career by giving her a feature slot in some of the biggest shows in Clares Tour. Together with Ben Cipolla, they all presented the rich repertoire of Ella Fitzgerald to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Ella birth in 1917.

During this time, Cherise had the privilege of performing the refined arrangements of Guy Barker across the nation. Some of these events included:

- Cadogan Hall, London with a Mini Big Band

- Gateshead Jazz Festival with the Guy Barker Orchestra

- BBC 57th PROM August, Royal Albert Hall with the Guy Barker Big Band and the Winston Rollins Big Band.

- Liverpool Symphonic Hall with Guy Barker and the Liverpool Symphony Orchestra

In 2015, Cherise had the played the role of 'Matilda' in the last theatre tour of the play 'The Suit'. Directed by the legendary Peter Brook, the Suit is a play based on the South African writer Can Themba's five-page short story about innocence, evil, desire and despair.

Joined by the skilled and passionate Co-director, Marie Helene, the cast took the story on an international journey rehearsing in New Yorks Brooklyn Academy of Music and performing in Brazil, Taiwan, Macoa and Scandavia
